The Inline Chlorinator™ will dose out chlorine which is fed directly into the retention tank.. The Retention Tank will act as a contact tank for the chlorine to disinfect against bacteria, precipitate iron, hydrogen sulfide, control algae and help with tannins. This will allow the MetalMaster to perform optimally without interference of iron bacteria and other contaminants.The PureMaster™ V-500™ will simply remove the chlorine introduced by the Inline Chlorinator as well as address several other chemicals and contaminants.

The advanced Inline Chlorinator chlorine feeder system is designed for ease of use on wells, helps to control iron, iron bacteria, and sulfur. The unit uses pellets that last for 60 to 90 days, much more convenient than other chlorinators which require addition of chlorine once a week. All instructions for installation and maintenance are enclosed.

The Retention Tank must be purged periodically to discharge any heavy particulates that settle to the bottom of the retention tank (once per week or so for 60 seconds). See the installation and maintenance manuals for details.
