The Stage #2 8" Molded Replacement HEPA Cartridge in the Amaircare 2500 removes dust, pollen, bacteria, animal dander, attached viruses, cigarette smoke, radon progeny (decay products) and more, down to 0.3 microns, and features 50 square feet of filter media. Over time (2 to 5 years, depending on usage) it will become clogged with particulates and significant airflow reductions will occur.

Filter Change Schedule

First Stage	Second Stage	Third Stage
Carbon Prefilter	HEPA Cartridge	Carbon Inner Blanket or VOC Canister
Replace every four months.	Check every 2 years. Replace when outside surface of media is dark in color.	Replace every 6 months (blanket) or year (canister) or when there is a noticeable increase of odors.
